Mmmm.... cupcakes. :)
I was in a baking mood today and decided to make some cupcakes. :) I thought they would be quick and easy to do and wouldn't need the oven to be on for long. Typical of me to be in a baking mood when the weather is so hot!
I was pleased with how they came out and they taste yummy too. :) It's my boyfriend's birthday soon so early cakes for us as treats.

Marvin and friends. :)
Remember last time I posted I was saying how Marvin the Monkey has been a little down lately and it's because he's been lonely?
Well Marvin is lonely no more. :) He's now a happy monkey and it's all thanks to his new monkey friends! :D Meet Melvin, Mollie and Millie. :) They've all been getting on really well and having lots of fun together. :)
I will be introducing them individually and telling you more about them in days to come. :)

Operation Marvin - The Arrival of the Ami Monkeys
My little Marvin the Monkey has been feeling a little sad lately. :( Look at his little face. I asked him what was wrong and he said he's been feeling a little lonely and wanted some company from his own kind.
Apparantly I'm "fun" but my dislike for bananas and my lack of bendy limbs is really starting to show. Awwww....
So in order to keep my little Marvin happy I have been on a mission over the last few days which is still continuing..... Operation Marvin - The Arrival of the Ami Monkeys. :D Watch this space! :)

Etsy UK Swap
Every now and then the UK Etsy Team organises a secret swap. This mid year one was organised by Coldcell and I wanted to say thanks to him for the organising and headache of matching everyone up with each other. :) (+50 people!)
The other day I received a surprise in the post and I wanted to say a huge thanks to Bunny who turned out to be my swap partner. :) I love her artwork and was so happy to see the writing set she had designed and created for me. :)
I have two rats called Reznor and Monty and the writing set is designed with them on it and their little paw prints. :) It's so cute and I love the fact it reads "From the House of Monty and Reznor" across the top. Awwww....... I really love it! Big hugs and thanks to Bunny! :)

Amigurumi Pink Pig
I thought I would have a go at doing a little amigurumi pig. :) I'm quite pleased with the result although if I do one again I think I'll have a go at doing the snout crocheted also instead of felt so it sticks out. But overall I think it's quite cute. :)
My piggie is up for sale on my etsy shop here. :)

Amigurumi Fruit - Apple, Orange and Tomato
The weather has been so much nicer lately and it actually feels like summer. I'm sure it won't last long and we even had a little rain today. But this nicer weather has been inspiring me to make some little kawaii fruit things.
So far I have made an apple, orange and tomato. I've only listed the orange on my etsy shop here but I'll be listing the others soon. I think my favourite is the apple one. :)
