Chocolate Cupcakes

I was in a baking mood this morning and decided to make some cupcakes since I hadn't made any for a while. :) Yummy.

Turned them into chocolate iced ones with chocolate sprinkles. Gave some to my family and to my boyfriend's family - not many left now. :P

Chocolate Sandwich Cake

I hadn't done any baking for a little while as it's just been too hot here lately to have the oven on for long. But now that it's cooler I thought I'd make something and opted for a chocolate sponge cake with icing. Mmmmm......

Haven't made a sandwich cake for years so made a change, I think it came out ok. Tastes nice anyway. :P

More baking - cheese scones

See what happens when a bank holiday weekend arrives. Having more time gives me urges to bake. :) I love baking although after a long day at work I often don't feel like it when I get home.

This time it was cheese scones. I love cheese scones especially when they're warm and fresh out of the oven.

Choccie cake

I was flicking through my recipe books last night and stumbled upon a cake recipe I thought I'd give a go today once I'd been shopping and got the rest of the ingredients I was missing.

It's a chocolate chip cake. I love baking especially when the smell starts to linger around the house. Mmmmmm... the house smelt of chocolate when it was in the oven.

Cake came out ok though I think. Got a thumbs up from the boyfriend so that's a plus. :)

Mmmm.... I've been baking this morning and made a yummy coconut cake. I love coconut cake. :) I used to watch my mum make this when I was younger and then used to join in and help so it's nice to carry on making it now. I'll take her some later when I go round and see her.

I was in a baking mood today and decided to make some cupcakes. :) I thought they would be quick and easy to do and wouldn't need the oven to be on for long. Typical of me to be in a baking mood when the weather is so hot!

I was pleased with how they came out and they taste yummy too. :) It's my boyfriend's birthday soon so early cakes for us as treats.

Chocolate cookies.

I've been doing some baking this afternoon and made some chocolate cookies with choc chips. The house smells of chocolate now. Mmmmmm...........
