It's all about the bears!

Woodland Bears watercolour

It seems to be all about the bears for me at the moment.  I've been painting this watercolour. Back to my outlines again although I haven't ruled out trying without them again. :)  I enjoyed painting this as I love woodland scenery and toadstalls and became quite fond of the baby bear's expression looking up at me as I was painting. :)

I'm also currently crocheting a bear so will post a picture of that once I have finished it too.

Amigurumi Kawaii Pink Bear

Just thought I'd share this little Amigurumi Pink Bear I made yesterday while enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon on the sofa watching a film. :)  Crocheting and watching tv works for me - relaxing. :)

Anyway this little one can be adopted from my etsy shop as usual. :)

Amigurumi Little Panda Bears

I think pandas look so cute. :)  Haven't made any for a while so I thought I'd make a little one which turned out quite cute I reckon.  And then for some reason I decided to make an ultra rare pink panda. :P  They can be adopted at my etsy shop as usual or I've also got the crochet pattern up for sale here also.

Been busy making a few things lately and just need to take pictures of them so will update soon about those. :)

Amigurumi Little Bears

I've been busy crocheting a different type of bear to the last ones I've been making.  I seem to have a thing about bears at the moment. :P

These ones are smaller and less traditional looking and I was in a bright colour mood so they ended up aqua, green and red. :)  As usual they can be adopted at my etsy shop. :)

Amigurumi Pink Bears

I haven't posted in a little while so first of I'll start off by saying Happy New Year!

I got quite busy towards the end of last year but back with some new bears. :)  They've gone all pink with Valentine's Day in mind.  Very pink! :P

Amigurumi Polar Bear

I love crocheting my little bears. :)  With the weather turning colder and winter making more of an arrival I thought I'd make a little polar bear to add to the gang.  I think it turned out pretty cute.

Polar Bear has been hanging out with some of the other bears and all been getting a little boisterous. :P  As always the polar bear and others can be adopted at my etsy shop. :)

All about the bears!

This last week or so has all been about the bears for me. :)  I started messing about with designs and made the one, and thought he looked quite cute but a little lonely on his own so I made another one.... and then I thought a dark brown bear would go nicely with the little gang so I made him... and then I thought a cream one had to be made... and there I had it - a little gang of chocolate brown bears. :)

They look so cute hanging out with each other and seem to have adopted personalities of their own.

Amigurumi Panda.

Feels like a while ago since I updated my blog.  I've been a little busy lately working on some new designs.  I'll reveal those another time but I've been quite excited about them and also feeling quite inspired that I keep making new stuff.  Haven't got pictures of them yet but they'll be here soon. :)

So as well as working on new designs I've been busy making some custom orders for people.  I thought I'd share a couple on here.  One is an Amigurumi Panda which I loved making, it's been a while since I made a panda so that was cool to make.  And then a little Amigurumi Lamb which is going to be a pet for a Blythe Doll.  I hadn't thought about making pets for dolls before but I hope the doll with like it, lol. :)

Amigurumi Polar Bear

Just a quick blog update tonight as I have to go out soon. I wanted to do a quick entry about another of my winter themed amigurumi critters and this time it's a polar bear. :) I've just listed it at my etsy shop so it's up for adoption and looking for a good home.

Amigurumi Panda

Recently I watched Kung Fu Panda for the first time - hadn't seen it before but I think pandas are so cute. After that it made me want to crochet a panda and I ended up with this little thing. :) It's available for adoption at my etsy shop of course. :)

It's only the second panda I've made and the first one was done over a year ago now. Was nice to do something different. :)

Amigurumi Cocoa Bears

I'm happy to be introducing Cocoa Bears to Cute Designs. :) I hadn't made any traditional looking bears for a while so thought I would have a go and brown being the obvious colour for a bear of course.

Didn't take me long to think brown - chocolate - cocoa... :) Hope you like them, it's been fun making them. They are available to adopt at http://www.cutedesigns.co.uk and my etsy shop. :)

Little Plush Panda

I hadn't made anything purely out of felt for quite a while so I thought I'd make something new and fun and instead of doing my large plushies I thought I'd make something smaller. :)

I came up with this little cute Panda which can be found in my etsy shop here. :)

I quite enjoyed making it and might make other animals in a similar way.

Another Kawaii Summer Bear - Pink and Green

Just lately I've been enjoying using really bright coloured yarns together to crochet things. I think it's the nice summer weather we've been having lately that's just making me want to create these bright things. :)

So here's another little bright summer bear new on my etsy shop. :)

Amigurumi Polar Bear

Since winter is here and Christmas is fast approaching I thought I would make one of my little bears a little speical and the result was an Amigurumi Polar Bear. :) I think he came out quite cute and I was pleased with it. Complete with a ribbon scarf to keep him warm. :D More about him here at my etsy shop. :)

Amigurumi Light Brown Bear

Here's a little amigurumi bear I crocheted. :) I think he came out looking quite cute and the colours remind me of autumn. He's wearing a little scarf because of the chilly weather. :) More about him at my etsy shop here.

Amigurumi Brown Bear

I've been enjoying making some new bears over the last few days and this is the first of them. I'll post them up gradually. It's a new pattern I've been working on and I thought they'd look cute with a little colourful ribbon round them too. :)

Amigurumi Bear - Frizz

This fuzzy bear is a bit on the lazy side and likes to find a nice comfy spot to have a snooze or watch the day go by. :) Frizz is also a daydreamer but is very loveable. :)

Frizz the bear is looking for a new home with a nice place to relax and daydream. More information about Frizz here.

Frizz was also a challenge using a different kind of yarn which was a bit of a bugger to use but I'm pleased with the end result. :)

Amigurumi Bear - Candy

Candy the Bear arrived at the Adoption Centre with a very sweet tooth and a love for sweets, especially pink ones. :) She can be a little hyper at times but is full of fun.

Candy is hoping to find a loving home and somewhere that has lots of sweets. :) More info here. :)

Billy the Bear arrived at the Adoption Centre after stories about hugs and teddies drifted up to his isolated cave.

My Amigurumi Adoption Centre

I've been a little busy lately working on something and got me quite excited. :) It all came to mind when little Kelvin came to be.

This is Kelvin and he's a little koala. I just thought he looked so cute and it got me thinking about how I hope he gets to go to a nice home and then that got me thinking about adoption and how cute it would be to open a little adoption centre for my amigurumis.

The A.A.C. (Amigurumi Adoption Centre) is ready to gradually open its doors to all kinds of little beings looking for new homes. Kelvin is just the first and is available at my etsy shop here.

Kelvin arrived at the adoption centre after playing hide and seek with his buddies. He'd hidden in a kangaroo pouch but was never found as the kangaroo had hopped off. He is looking for a new fun home and maybe someone to play hide and seek with.

I've also made little adoption certificates to go with my critters too. :)

I'll post more critters as they come up for adoption. :)
